Euchner Multifunctional Gate Box - MGB
The MGB (Multifunctional Gate Box) is a unique interlocking or guard locking system for the protection of safety doors on machines and systems.
Even the basic system comprised of a handle module and an evaluation module (as interlocking module or locking module) includes numerous functions. Whether interlocking, guard locking, escape release or other functions such as buttons for start/stop, emergency stop, etc. – the MGB meets all your requirements for safety-related applications. And if your needs grow, the MGB system grows with them. Due to the sophisticated modular design, the evaluation module can quickly become a small operator panel.

Euchner CET Locking Safety Switch
EUCHNER CES Category 4, Non-Contact Safety Systems are used to monitor the position of movable machine guarding by means of Inductive Coding. These systems are designed for use in areas where a high level of tamper resistance and safety is required. These systems feature an inductive read head with integral evaluation unit / safety module, and a digitally coded actuator. Unlike universally coded magnetic switches, the CES actuators are uniquely coded and cannot be bypassed by any means. The safety switch CET-AR with guard locking is based on the proven transponder principle. The CET-AR has an integrated evaluation module making it a complete package. The CET1-AR, originally a mechanically locking device, where applying power unlocks the switch, is now also available in the electrically locking CET2-AR, where applying power locks the switch, and CET3-AR with a door monitoring contact.
Euchner Design Type 2 Safety Switches
EUCHNER Design Type 2 Safety Switches are used to protect personnel by monitoring and interrupting the safety circuit depending on the position of the machine guard. The locking solenoid holds the guard closed until a stored energy hazard has dissipated. It can also prevent damage to a part in process due to an inadvertent machine shutdown. To meet current worldwide standards, safety interlock components cannot be easily bypassed. These switches have positive opening contacts (in accordance to NFPA 79) and redundancy to guarantee that they fail to a safe state. The robust metal safety switch STA is dimension-compatible with the proven EUCHNER safety switches TP and STP in plastic housing.
Note: Design type 2 safety switch has an actuator that is separate from the switch body. The two must be combined or separated for switch operation.

Euchner CES-FD Non-Contact Safety System
Euchner CES category 4, non-contact safety systems are used to monitor the position of movable machine guarding by means of inductive coding. These RFID systems are designed for use in areas where a high level of tamper resistance and safety is required. The new product CES-FD from Euchner is a small and compact field evaluation unit for connecting external transponder-coded read heads. The read head CED-A-LMN with an M12 thread is small and can be connected directly to the field evaluation unit. Data evaluation take place directly in the field, requiring no space in the control cabinet.
Due to the unique capabilities of this product, it is suitable almost anywhere where safety and reliability is of the utmost of concern.
