Many parts that are required in the assembly process can have punch holes that need to be verified before moving that piece farther along in the assembly process. Using a vision system can help you detect those holes to ensure the part is ready to move onto the next step in assembly. In this process, when a hole is punched, the vision sensor evaluates all holes to make sure they are all present and correctly sized. If any are not present or correctly sized, the sensor sends out a fail output and the part is rejected. This sensor can work at a high rate of speed with incredible accuracy. In turn it will save you time and make production more efficient.
