2mm Repeat Accuracy using Time of Flight Method
The TOF Series measures the time that it takes for the light source to reflect off the target or reflector.
This distance is then compared to the threshold set with the turn pot adjustment and makes a decision on whether or not to activate the digital output.
Dual Laser System Provides Very Stable Detection
The TOF sensor uses 2 laser diodes in order to compensate for temperature drift
of the laser inside the case and emits directly to a receiving diode diode.
The other emits on the outside of the case. By Compensating for the time difference between the 2 laser pulses, the time measurement remains consistent regardless of temperature changes.
Very Low Hysteresis
Very Low hysteresis between black and white objects on the Diffuse model.
